Monday morning motivation
Okay, confession time. I have not been a “good girl” when it comes to staying on plan – in terms of exercise and nutrition. A less than stellar weekend. How many of you can relate?
This hasn’t happened to me in a while, but after a particularly busy, stressful and emotional week, I let things slide. Blame it on spring fever NOT realized with this crazy winter we’re having in spring. Or, just pure out-of-control business as I struggle to get it all done AND hold myself in the equation.
The truth is, there are no excuses. I am trying to be compassionate with myself and keep myself accountable at the same time. If I have learned one thing about this journey in the past two years, it is that THE most important thing when this happens is to get right back on the horse. Restart!
So here we go. I am putting it out into the ether and holding myself accountable in doing so. In case some of you are in the same boat, I went in search of some Monday morning motivation to get my butt moving. This is what inspired me today. What inspires you or helps you get back on track when you have slipped or fallen? Please share.
Thanks Lori, I needed this too!
Hi Kathy, thanks for the post. I can’t wait to catch up this coming Monday night on all things Kathy! 🙂
I’ve been trying to talk myself out of going to bootcamp at noon today until I read this post. Seeing that picture of Leif is enough. (That guy will forever haunt me). I’m off to bootcamp now. Thanks for posting!
Hey Deb, thanks for the post. We have to support each other, right. We all have those days. Hope you enjoyed bootcamp and assuming I will see you this coming Saturday in Bloomintgton?!
Lori, thanks for being so publicly honest! I’ve neglected my exercise schedule too. been too writing about fitness and fat loss, but neglecting myself. I preach balance so I had better get back to living it…. hope you get back on track. All the best 🙂
Hi Rose, Thanks for reading and thanks for the post. I visited your blog, too.
