Being in your equation…finding life
It’s no secret. If you’re reading this blog, you know that I am a recovering workaholic, food addict, and for far too many years gave too much of myself away to others at the expense of me. And that’s all changed.
I now live in the center of my equation, practice living in the moment, and I am happy to report — “I have found my life.” And I love it! I couldn’t be happier.
I wanted to share this blog link from Positively Positive titled, “Giving up my to do list and finding my life,” by Arielle Ford. She is the author of eight books, including international bestseller The Soulmate Secret: Manifest the Love of Your Life with the Law of Attraction (which is so on my reading list.)
This blog hit home for me today as I start a new week and evaluate the balance between my business responsibilities, my budding dreams, and a new relationship.
How many of you reading this define yourself or your worth by your work, or did? I sure did. Arielle writes, “In the past, I often defined myself by my work, and I hate to admit this, but my ego took a lot of pride in “just how much I can accomplish” in an hour or a day or a week.” That’s was exactly me. No longer. Now I measure my overall effectiveness and happiness in the moment and not everything gets done. And that’s okay. Cause that’s how I “do” life with Lori in the center.
How do you “do” life and does this resonate with you? Talk to me.
Way cool! Some very valid points! I appreciate you penning this
post and also the rest of the website is very good.
