So many changes…so much to look forward to

Wow, my heart is full. These past couple of weeks have been good ones for my program, and I am struck by how much day-to-day life has changed. In little ways and big ways. It’s difficult to describe really, but life is full and enjoyable in each and every moment. I’m a hiker!

I am discovering so many new things about myself as I get smaller and healthier, both inside and out. For example: I love the outdoors; I would go barefoot 24-7 if I could; Ms Dash rocks; yard work is not as bad as I once made it out to be; I can pull off a low neck tee; I love getting my hair cut; pedis rule; I always root for the underdog; I am a bit of a fashion/ clothes horse; and I LOVE hiking! Day 1: 7 hours and still going strong

Survived my first pool workout in my new swim outfit; the first cardio circuit including my first ever plank (not a big fan); and a snowshoe hike led by Andy and Jeremy on the Britton Peak Trail — highlights of the first 7 hours of the first day of Fitness North boot camp. Plus a nutritional seminar by Leif Anderseon, our program director, and a great healthy lunch. Read more
